Samsung F480 Tocco - The Latest In Samsung Mobile Innovation

July 21st, 2008 · 1 Comment · Mobile Phones

Samsung Tocco F480

Samsung F480 Tocco - If you’re searching for a new touchscreen mobile phone the Samsung F480 could be a great phone for you. It’s just one of those innovations from Samsung to make our mobile lifestyle more enjoyable and entertaining. It is the latest trend on the high-end mobile phone market.

The Samsung Tocco is a very compact touchscreen cellphone packaged in a slim and sturdy enclosure. The ultra-slim credit card size, metallic accents, and polished texture makes the F480 smooth and fashionable which makes you think that its a luxury device.

Features

-2.8″ 256K colour touchscreen display with QVGA resolution will make your images and colors full of life. It gives the correct balance of brightness and color saturation.

-Although a 5 megapixel camera (with autofocus and face detection) isn’t as impressive as it once were but it’s still good enough to shoot high-quality photos.

-HSDPA connectivity is absolutely a must when you transfer large-sized photos because it will reduce those images for fast data transfer.

-An extra microSD card slot will give you more storage if you ever need them.

-If you like Windows Vista then you’ll definitely love this because the user interface is complete with widgets and it feels like you’re going around with Windows Vista desktop particularly the sidebar.

-The haptics feature adds more user-friendliness because the phone will vibrate slightly whenever your finger passes over a button.

-It has a music recognition feature, FM radio with RDS if you’re bored with your mp3s, equalizers to give your songs more energy and some sound effects.

-Web browser if you can’t live without an Internet.

Almost every cellphone with a touchscreen feature is marked an iPhone killer but I believe the Samsung Tocco (certainly a good option) has decent features to differentiate it from the iPhone and it doesn’t try hard to copy the iPhone’s user interface or appearance unlike other mobile phones. Don’t be fooled and free yourself from all those iPhone hype because this phone can deliver whenever you need them.

If you like to buy a touchscreen phone but doesn’t want an iPhone then give the Samsung F480 Tocco some serious consideration and see for yourself whether its the new iPhone killer that everyone’s talking about. If you’re still unsure about the quality of this phone then I recommend you read more Samsung Tocco Reviews or you can ask your friends or search more around the Internet until you’re certain enough to purchase the device.

Best HDTV - Watch Your Favorite TV Show In Superb Quality With Samsung 550 Series HDTV

July 21st, 2008 · No Comments · TV-HDTV

Best HDTV - Samsung’s 550 Series is a perfect way to step up to Full HD 1080p resolution.

Features

30,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio/500 nit Brightness

This will impart you a picture better than you ever thought possible with whiter whites, blacker blacks and about infinite refinement of gradations in between. Contrast and brightness degrees as 2 of the most significant determining factors in overall image quality reach new heights in this latest generation LCD panel.

Full HD 1080P

Full HD or 1080p comprises 1.5 times more scanning lines than conventional High-Definition TVs. More scanning lines entail more pixels, more details and a better image. Samsung’s 1080p panel utilizes a new high-speed liquid crystal to cut down response time to 4ms. The fast response time matched with Samsung’s Auto Motion Plus 120Hz motion blur reduction technology dramatically cuts motion blur and shake. The new Samsung LCD TV with resolution that is roughly 2 times greater than conventional HDTVs produces the most perfect image imaginable.

Wide Color Enhancer/Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp

Samsung’s exclusive Wide Color Enhancer technology delivers more vivid colors even in bright areas of the image where blues and greens are faded on conventional displays. The system exhibits wider color reproduction showing you genuine colors – the fresh green of spring leaf, the intense blue of the summer sky.

Super Patterned Vertical Alignment

Samsung’s Super Patterned Vertical Alignment (SPVA) panel offers a 178-degree viewing angle from all 4 axes.

Digital Natural Image Engine

This exclusive Samsung technology impressively amends the image by enhancing the contrast, detail, and white balance.

User Testimonials

After spending numerous hours searching products, checking with friends that had made similar purchases, reading many reviews, and finally getting the courage to pull the trigger on a $1000 + TV, it all let to this TV. Amazon was the best price I could find from any company with a reputation or that I had ever heard of, and the free shipping was a big incentive. Installation was simple and pretty intuitive. Image is outstanding and I had it just in time to watch the US Open Golf in High-Definition. It was just gorgeous. I don’t think anybody can go wrong with this TV. - M. Yoder

Good TV. Does everything I want it for and image quality is great when compared to TVs in this price range yet alone TVs above this price. Has plenty of inputs for the common household and TV alone appears well built and designed. - Mark

Was a little bit hesitant to purchase online but now I’m glad I did! It was the most hassle-free experience I’ve ever had. They delivered on time, brought it upstairs, assemble it and programmed it for me. The delivery person was unrushed , no attitude and replied to all my questions before he left. The set is everything everybody says it was…image is superb and the price was right. Samsung and Amazon have another loyal client - M. Berkowitz

WarGames - Reminiscing The Movie After 25 Years

July 17th, 2008 · No Comments · My Reviews

Temp-image_1_1

I love movies and I know you are too. Who says movies from the 1980’s sucks? Although they don’t have the graphics like we have today but they certainly entertain us ’till this day. Who doesn’t remember Anakin Skywalker? Clark Kent? Indiana Jones? They are a thing of the past but they will be remembered forever.

Speaking of movies from the 1980s, Fathom and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios are proud to present WarGames (It is a story of a hacker who unwittingly got the chance to play a game with the US Military’s war computer) back on the big screen after 25 years. This is a one time showing only playing in selected theaters nationwide. It will be on Thursday, July 24 and it includes never-before-seen interviews with film’s creators and the cast (including Broderick and Ally Sheedy). Additionally, get a sneak peek at the making of the sequel – WarGames: The Dead Code. Enjoy the movie show!
